The 42mm diameter barrel-shaped case, beveled octagonal fixed bezel with 8 hexagonal screws, and bracelet are brushed/polished. The dial is stunning Electric Blue with tapestry "waffle" texture, and there is a tachymeter scale to 500 UPH around the perimeter flange. It has rounded baton hands with luminous inserts, a solid white center sweep chronograph second hand, and there are hour indices with luminous inserts. There are three subsidiary dials with concentric rings, luminous white markers and Arabic numerals, and luminous white indicating hands, including a running constant small seconds dial at the 12 o’clock position, a 30-minute chronograph counter at 9 o’clock, and a 12-hour totalizer at 6 o’clock. A date aperture window is at 3 o’clock underneath a 2.5x Cyclops magnifying lens. It’s water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet, it has a power reserve of 48-hours at full winding, and the 14mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. 

This Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph 25721ST.OO.1000ST.05 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Audemars Piguet caliber 2326/2840 movement. It’s rhodium-plated with Cotes de Geneve embellishment, and it’s constructed with 50 jewels, a shock absorber mechanism, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance that’s adjusted to heat, cold, and 5 positions, a self-compensating flat balance spring, and a 21K gold rotor that oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz).
