The dial of the Patrimony is just stunning; the two tone dial with its 5 different finishes from creme, to silver and gray is a sight especially with the touch of black from the tachometer scale which adds a twist. Even though it is inspired by the dials of the watches from the 40s, the Patrimony dial has a modernist touch which sets it perfectly in its epoch.

The chronograph function is based on a Lemania movement, a classic, but it has been taken to a new operating level. You simply cannot believe how smooth the start/stop function operates with the return function so swift and smooth, it is hard to believe—just amazingly silky and something that has to be experienced.

The Vacheron Constantin Patrimony Traditionnelle Chronograph is so well balanced that you do not really feel it on the wrist after you put it on, the strap is very comfort engineered and the half Maltese cross, with the hand-stitched strap are a very stylish combination.

This watch features the Vacheron Constantin Cal1141 movmebt which is based on Lemania Cal CH 27 (now Manufacture Breguet). A tried and tested movement whose design and development began in the 1940s and first used by Tissot and Omega and first used in the Chronographe Historique of the early 90s. An extremely high end movement certainly one of the most beautiful chronograph movements currently available. This movement features 164 components, 21 Jewels, and an approximate power reserve of 48 hours.

The Patrimony Traditionnelle Chronograph Comes with a beautiful double folding Maltese Cross deployant buckle with the Maltese Cross design repeated in the inside of
the clasp. Certainly one of – if not THE- nicest deployants.
