The 41mm X 44mm cushion-shape solid two-body case, downturned screwed lugs, and flat angled bezel, are polished/brushed. The dial is silver with rose gold baton hands with luminous inserts, a gold sweep second hand, and applied gold Arabic numeral hour markers at the even hours with trapezoidal hour indices around the perimeter. There is an inner sapphire crystal date ring with luminous Arabic numerals. The dial also features a small "sun" design which is also produced by the "Metalization process". The sun design is inspired by the clock on the Tour de l’Ile in Place Bel-Air, in the Saint-Gervais district of Geneva. At one time, all the watchmakers on the square set their watches and clocks by it. It’s water-resistant to 30 meters/100 feet. This magnificent watch features a Laser engraved date number on the crystal filled with white ink. Unlike traditional date wheels where the date is printed on a wheel & the wheel turns each day, the Quai de l’Ile date numbers are engraved & on the dial crystal - there is a separate contrasting solid colored plate that moves beneath the date & creates a contrasting background to the current date. A soft iron casing ring provides additional anti-magnetic protection.

It’s rhodium-plated with Cotes de Geneve embellishment and it’s stamped with the Quality Seal of Geneva. It’s constructed with 27 jewels, 1264 components, a tungsten rotor, and a shock absorber device. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz).
